Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper describes a remote hydrogen sensor made of a PdNi-coated magnetic ribbon. The resonant frequency of PdNi-coated magnetic ribbon increased by 11% when hydrogen concentration was increased up to 6.92%.When the hydrogen concentration was more than 6.92%, it was saturated. On the other hand, the resonant frequency of PdNi-coated magnetic ribbon rose up to 11.9% monotonously as the hydrogen concentration was increased up to 100%. It is confirmed that the PdNi-coated magnetic ribbon could measure hydrogen concentration more sensitively than the Pd-coated magnetic ribbon over a wide hydrogen concentration range.
