Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We discuss application of organoboron polymer to 3D optical memory with waveguide structure by tow-photon absorption (TPA). The difference of substituted group of organoboron polymer, which shows the photolysis through TPA process, were discussed to obtain high efficiency materials. The absorption peak of the polymer shifts to the long wave length by the introduction of thiophene unit. TPA cross section has increased in exponential along with the long wavelength. A clear image of the record spots was obtained with CCD camera. These promise that the organoboron polymers are suitable for 3D optical memories.
