Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | It is dangerous to apply conventional testing techniques or approaches to object oriented software. A class has its attributes and methods and is usually more complicated than a conventional procedure. Therefore, if the testing of the former is the same level as the latter, the integration test will cause confusion. Shel Siegel has proposed a hierarchical approach in his book, Object Oriented Software Testing. The approch requires to make sure the components are safe before integrating them. |
