Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We studied and developed an optical tap cable which shortens the construction time of optical fiber cable and connections in the fields. Prototype has been confirmed to possess sufficient insertion loss, mechanical and environmental characteristics for use in environments. We are confident that our new optical tap cable provide an important technology that will meet increased demands for FTTx in the future.
