Abstract(in English) | SMPS with quasi-resonant switching mode has features of high power conversion efficiency and very low radio noise. Conversion efficiency of it's SMPS is reduced in proportion as to reducing of output power, because of increment of switching frequency. To improve conversion efficiency on light load, bottom skip quasi-resonant switching power IC is developed. This IC operates normal quasi-resonant switching mode on around of rated maximum output power. On light load less than about 60% of maximum rating, the IC automatically operates bottom skip quasi-resonance mode that means power MOSFET is just switched on at the only 2^ |
