Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) An overmoded-waveguide oscillator is a highly efficient spatial power combiner for millimeter-wave Gunn diodes. The oscillators can produce a higher CW-power of more than lW at the frequencies above 60GHz. In order to transform an output mode of the oscillator (rectangular-waveguide TE_-modes) into the TE_<10> mode, mode converters using overmoded waveguides have been developed.
