Abstract(in English) Demands for multimedia service using the wireless LAN, such as voice and video, is increasing. In near future, the multimedia applications will be commonly used in the home, the office, and the hotspot environments. The multicast delivery is one of these multimedia applications. This paper proposes the method to maintain communication quality for the multicast delivery in Wireless LANs. Furthermore, the proposed methods not only satisfy the communication quality for multicast, but support other multimedia services at a time. The results of computer simulation and measurements confirm excellently performance.
