Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) To enlarge the coverage area and increase the system capacity, three frequency bands; 800 MHz, 1.7GHz and 2.0GHz are currently used by the NTT DoCoMo 3Gsystem. Moreover, correspond to the diversity or MIMO, we need to set multi antenna in the handset. For aesthetic purpose, built-in antenna for handset is required. However it is difficult to set multi-band and multi antenna in the limited space. This paper adopts our proposed small scroll configured monopole antenna for the candidate. We set two antennas on the space that used for one antenna. Using genetic algorithm, multi-band multi-antenna that optimized for efficiency increase and correlation decrease is designed automatically.
