Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We discuss the human perception of lexical order and introduce a novel computational method, Word Sequences, that arranges words by a commonly perceived order. We use proximity-search to acquire properties of order from the English Web. The value of the proposed method is verified in a preliminary experimental settings against lexical orders provided by human subjects. An extension, to previously established WordSets methodology for Second Language Acquisition is proposed.
