Sampling theorems for periodic functions and interpolation formulae for sampled data

Abstract(in English) A sampling theorem in the time domain for band limited periodic functions is proved. It states that a band limited periodic function can be uniquely determined from the sampled data of finite number within unit period in the time domain. The interpolation function has different forms according to the cases where the data number within unit period is even or odd. The corresponding sampling theorem in the frequency domain is also given. It states that the periodic spectral function of a temporally localized function can be uniquely determined from the sampled spectral data of finite number within unit period in the frequency domain. In this case, the form of the interpolation function is independent of the cases where the data number within unit period is even of odd. These results are extended to multi-dimensional cases. Futhermore, differentiation formulae of any order for the interpolation formulae are given.
