Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In hands-free communication system, a voice switch is used for howling cancellation. However, the quality of duplex communication is low in the conventional voice switches because the speech signal is suppressed during double-talk. To solve this problem, we proposed a frequency-domain voice switch based on sparseness of speech in this report. The condition of howling cancellation in the frequency-domain voice switch is derived, and the computer simulation results clarified the correctness of the derived condition. The experimental results demonstrated that the degradation of the speech signal in the proposed method is lower than that in the convetional method
