Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We have fabricated a 240×320×3 organic thin-film transistor array for driving a liquid crystal display, where the semiconductor, gate dielectric and passivation films have been all formed using solution processes. We have adopted a three-layered passivation structure to minimize the degradation of OTFT performance accompanying the patterning and passivation of the semiconductor films. An average mobility of 0.1cm^2/Vs and on/off current ratios more than 10^4 have consequently been obtained within 5"-in-diagonal-area, which are considered to be enough to drive 240 scan line displays.
