Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We have been fabricated superconducting tunnel junctions (STJs) for photon detector. The STJs were fabricated with three different sizes of normal-distribution-function (NDF) shape junction and five different contact-hole areas. NDF-STJs which has the dispersion parameters of 0.25, 0.15, 0.75 showed good energy resolution with small magnetic field comparing with conventional shaped STJ. The energy resolution of the STJ with different contact areas shows degradation according to increasing of contact area.
