Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) One of the problems in the high density recoding of perpendicular magnetic head is a thermal degradation. Although the simulation of writing and reading characteristics using 3-D finite element method combined with the modeling of Stoner-Wohlforth(SW) particles are carried out, the analysis of thermal degradation of recorded magnetization seems few. In this paper, we introduce the Neel-Arrhenius switching probability in the 3-D simulation system, and applied to the analysis of writing and reading characteristics of CF-SPT head considering the thermal degradation. It is shown that the thermal degradation varies by the recording density and parameters of medium.
