| Abstract(in English) | Multi-device communication will be usual in ubiquitous networking environment with the feature of heterogeneity and ubiquity. In such a situation, users shall be able to communicate by a best suited way according to their surroundings and preferences. This paper shows a dynamic session modification mechanism that enables users to switch their communication resources during a session. Towards that, Session Manager and Presence Manager are introduced as Application Servers (AS) in IMS/MMD infrastructures. Prototype system including implementation on a mobile phone, and performance evaluations are also shown. |
