Abstract(in English) Toward the next generation network various communications configurations have been proposed and studied, one of which is a heterogeneous wireless network including a cellular system, a wireless LAN system, etc. We focus on the heterogeneous wireless network in tandem where two or more wireless systems are inter-connected via media conversion relay equipment. We propose to extend IEEE802.21 scheme, realizing a handover between the direct connection to a cellular system and the relayed connection via a wireless LAN. This handover scheme includes a particular framework to maintain QoS levels using the proposed admission control scheme. The implementation result shows the proposed scheme dffectively switches over between the direct/relayed connections with maintaining QoS levels.
