| Abstract(in English) | In June 2006, a young boy has been killed by an elevator accident. Our society has fully accepted elevators as useful means of transportation for vertical movements. But this accident induces us a big surprise and doubts about the safety of elevator. This paper shows the results of FMEA for a typical elevator and some recommendations for the improvements of the safety of elevator. |
