Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper proposes two novel techniques to reduce the number of capacitors in moving-average-type (MAT) sampling filters. The first technique is to divide averaging process into multi stages, which enables a capacitor bank to process charge and readout simultaneously at the second or later stages. The other technique is to process charge and readout cyclically in a capacitor bank. These techniques reduce the number of capacitor banks to one, resulting in downsizing of MAT sampling filters.
