Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, I introduce state-of-art circuit technologies for the reconfigurable RF circuit. The Si CMOS process is a reasonable fabrication technology to implement digital circuits. The CMOS process has obtained high-frequency operations due to miniaturization of process technology. Even though CMOS transistors have not yet caught up compound-semiconductor transistors in gain, noise, breakdown voltage, etc, the CMOS technology extends its applications in the wireless communication due to advantages in fabrication cost and large-scale integration embedding RF, analog and digital circuits. One of the most important applications is a multi-standard radio including the software-defined radio. In this paper, I will explain about circuit technologies to realize the reconfigurable RF circuit utilizing the CMOS process.
