| Abstract(in English) | Authors have been carrying out R & D activities regarding the Cognitive Radio technologies which enable the selection of radio parameters such as frequency band so as to fit with radio environment and provide the efficient use of frequency resource. In along with its objective, we are developing the communication equipment facilitating the autonomous inter-Base Station system, for trial. As for the exhibited communication facility, this paper describes its radio network configuration (inter-Base Station link and access link technique), the over view of the equipment and its performance characteristics (IP packet loss probability, antenna radiation pattern and forecasting of radio environment). Moreover, further research items to be solved and planed field test and demonstration event are outlined. This research has been conducted under the research contract on Cognitive Radio technology organized by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications, Japan. |
