Abstract(in English) This paper presents a Video-Web information navigation system based on the semantic video indexing using the Web. Focusing on the co-occurrence of topics in broadcasts and Web articles, our system find related Web-articles for videos based on a similarity measurement of phonetic symbol sequences that are derived both, from videos and Web-articles. We propose an effective matching method for topically related videos and Web-articles, using morphological analysis of Web-articles and heuristic pruning in similarity measurements. In the evaluation, we find that our proposed method could cutoff 47% of similarity mesurements, with few negative effects on precisions. A prototype of video navigation tool which can enable user to navigate to related Web pages for recorded videos is also described in this paper.
