Study of Interference Reduction by Cooperative Sensing for Multiple Systems with Shared Band

Abstract(in English) In this paper, the secondary transmitter tries to communicate with the secondary stations without interfering the primary system. Reliable detection of the primary system is crucial for this system. It is assumed that the secondary system cannot communicate with the primary system. There is an uncertainty in the received power level due to shadowing: The cooperative sensing where the stations share their sensing information among the secondary system can improve the detection accuracy. This paper investigates the secondary system whose transmitter receives sensing information by using multi-hop transmission from all secondary sensing stations which detect the primary system, and make decision of transmission based on the received sensing information. Moreover, it controls the transmit power by carrier to interference plus noise ratio (CINR) information from the secondary sensing stations. Simulation results assuming spatially independent shadowing and ideal multi-hop transmission in the secondary system reveal that the proposed system is helpful to protect the primary receivers which have no transmission ability.
