Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A technique has been developed to obtain tomographic image of scattering object by the time-resolved measurement of backscattered light. In this technique, the object was divided into a few hypothetical layers. To increase the number of the layers, we proposed a new technique based on repetitive estimation processes. The effectiveness of the proposed technique was confirmed using a model phantom with known structure. We could estimate the absorption distribution up to 7mm depth from the surface. The applicability of the proposed technique to real biological tissue was examined experimentally, as well.
