Abstract(in English) In order to widen the bandwidth of the antenna used for site evaluation of the radiated emission test above 1GHz, we construct the optical feeding antenna using UTC-PD (Uni-Traveling-Carrier Photodiode), in which a biconical antenna with a hemisphere are used. Radiated emission characteristics of the optical feeding antenna is calculated by FI method, and compared with that measured, and it is clear that the calculated values agree with the measured one. As for the directivity of the radiated electric field of the optical feeding antenna, it is confirmed that the directivities in frequency range of 1 to 6GHz almost comply with the requirement proposed by CISPR (international Special Committee on Radio Interference) 16-1-4 Ed.2. The frequency characteristic of the radiated electric field in 1 to 6 GHz was an almost flat characteristic with the deviation of only 12dB, and the electric field level of about 95.5to107.4dBμV/m was obtained. Moreover, the site VSWR of an anechoic chamber specified by CISPR16-1-4 Ed.2 is measured by using the biconical optical feeding antenna with a hemisphere through the comparison of a conventional biconical antenna. As a result, it is clear that the biconical optical feeding antenna can be almost applied for site validation specified by CISPR16-1-4 Ed.2.
