Abstract(in English) Electromagnetic disturbance might contain information that leaks from PC display. If a data is reconstructed from the measured disturbance, the displayed information might be leak. To evaluate whether the electromagnetic disturbance contains information or not, we need to reconstruct the display image from the measured disturbance using a special receiver. However, not all test facilities have such a receiver. Therefore, we propose an evaluation method of information leakage without special receiver. The frequency component of the dot-clock of a display is modulated by the displayed image, and its harmonics are radiated around the equipment. If the disturbance contains information, we can measure the frequency component of the displayed image, the horizontal sync signal, and the vertical sync signal. In this paper, we evaluate the disturbance from the existence of the frequency component of the horizontal and vertical sync signals.
