Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, we propose a novel sound field reproduction system using the simultaneous perturbation (SP) method and its faster convergence techniques. In the sound field reproduction system which reproduces any desired signal at listener's ear, the preprocessing filters are generally determined and fixed based on transfer functions from loudspeakers to control points in advance. However, movements of control points result in severe localization errors. We therefore propose a sound field reproduction system using the SP method which updates the filter coefficients only using error signal. The SP method suffers from the disadvantage of the slow convergence, although this method can track the movements of any control point. Hence, we also propose two methods improving the convergence speed. One is a delay control method which compensates a delay due to the back-and-forth movements of control point. The other is a compensation method which improves the localization error due to the head rotation. Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed methods can track the movements of control points and have reasonable convergence speed.
