Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This report presents a new method to estimate 3D radiating patterns of an antenna by using near electric field on the H-plane and the E-plane. All sampling points are located on each semicircle. Applying boundary condition to all of them, 2N×2N sided matrix which includes unknown coefficients is given. Radiating patterns can be obtained by applying asymptotic expansion to spherical function. In order to verify the adequacy of this method, we experimented with the Yagi Uda antenna and compared it with the conventional method. As a result of it, they show agreement.
