Abstract(in English) This report describes guided acoustic-wave Brillouin scattering (GAWBS) characteristics of hole-assisted fiber (HAF) numerically and experimentally. We clarify that the GAWBS spectra corresponding to only a particular acoustic mode is observed in HAF and show the dependence of the particular mode on the air hole structure. The temperature dependence of the GAWBS spectra is also revealed and the temperature sensor based on the GAWBS of HAF is investigated.
