| 抄録(和) | 本稿では,携帯電話のBluetooth機能を用いた位置認識システムの提案・開発を行う.近年,携帯情報端末の普及・無線通信速度の向上により,携帯情報端末向けの様々なサービスが期待されている.特に,最近の携帯電話はWebやメールサービスだけでなく,GPS機能やBluetooth機能も搭載し,これらの無線技術を連動して利用するアプリケーションによる新しいサービスが可能となってきている。さらに,携帯電話で取得できる位置情報を基とするサービスは次世代の携帯電話の有用なアプリケーションとなると考えられる.屋外ではGPS機能により容易に位置情報を取得できるが,屋内ではGPS衛星が観測できないため,屋内における精度の高い位置検出技術が必要である.そこで,本稿ではこのようなサービスの実現を目的とした位置認識システムの構築を目的とする.携帯型の情報端末であるノートPC・PDAや無線LANを用いて,無線LANのアクセスポイントからの電波強度を観測し位置認識を行うシステムも存在するが,移動性,汎用性や設置コストの面から問題がある。また,寺社などの歴史的建造物のような配線工事の難しい場所では利用ができない場合がある.そこで,本研究では携帯電話が持つBluetooth機能に着目し,Bluetoothの電波強度を用いて,位置認識を行うシステムの提案・開発を行う.最後に,検証実験により本システムの有効性を示す. |
| 抄録(英) | In this paper, we propose and develop a novel location awareness system using Bluetooth function of the cell phone. Recently, various services for the portable terminal are expected owing to improvement of the transmission rate of the portable terminal. For the last several years, the number of cell phone with Global Positioning System (GPS) function has increased and we can determine the position by its GPS coordinate. It is difficult to determine the accurate location in the building because it is hard to monitor the GPS satellites at the cell phone. There are location awareness systems using Wireless Local Area Networks (WLAN) of laptop PC or PDA. Although these systems determine the position using the receiving signal strength of the radio waves from some access points of the WLAN, we need to set many access points. In this paper, we propose and develop the location awareness system using the Receiving Signal Strength Indicator (RSSI) of Bluetooth function of the cell phone in the building. In this system, we estimate the position based on the difference between RSSI's from several Bluetooth transmitters. We show availabilities of the proposed system by some experiments. |
