Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In wireless sensor networks, location estimation of sensor nodes is important. Therefore, we have proposed a location estimation system based on maximum likelihood estimation using received signal power, which we call "the COLORS (COllaborative LOcalization with RSSI)". Conventional COLORS collects the data used for localization in a sensor node in a singlehop manner. However, the limited throughput of the sensor node leads to loss of data, and thus some sensor locations cannot be estimated. In this paper, we propose a multihop network protocol robust to the time-varying characteristic of the wireless link and a data collecting method suited for COLORS. We confirm the performance by a simulation and experiment.
