Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A key problem to high accuracy of the target localization in wireless sensor networks is Non-Line-of-Sight (NLOS) transmission of signal. This report presents a new algorithm to gain favorable position accuracy based on Time-of-Arrival (TOA) measurements, Received-Signal-Strength (RSS) measurements, attenuation constant estimation, and believable factor (BF), which describes how believable a TOA range measurement is. BF takes the reliability of estimation into the target localization objective function through the localization process. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can efficiently reduce the effect of NLOS error and achieve higher localization accuracy than the other conventional algorithms, TOA, RSS, and BF algorithms.
