Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | Theoretical aspects of some techniques for sensory information processing that may have considerable impacts on the sensor network design, and vice versa, are reviewed. Basic statistical methods for multisensor data fusion and their decentralized implementations are described. Methods for sensor, evaluation and selection, which are in particular important for achieving cost-aware sensor networks, are also discussed. |
