| 抄録(和) | 色ヒストグラム特徴を用いた画像分類手法を,虫画像に適用し,その有効性等を検討した.捕虫紙を撮影した画像を人力とし,画像に含まれる虫の数をそれぞれの種類ごとに出力する計数手法の開発を目指している.本研究では,虫画像の重心を中心として同心円状に分割された領域の色ヒストグラム特徴を特徴量とし,複数の統計的パターン認識手法により分類精度の比較を行う.実験の結果,同心円による領域分割が分類率の向上に寄与することが分かった. |
| 抄録(英) | We study on insects classification by color histogram generated from the input insect images. The objective of insect classification is to develop a way which simplifies the process of counting and identifying different kinds of insects for purposes such as disease and insect population control. In this research, we represent insects using color histogram as a primary feature for classification. We also perform feature transformation, and classification by statistical pattern recognition methods. Experiments show that color characteristics in circular region contribute to higher classification performance. |
