Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Numerous researchers have studied the mechanism of human shoulder joint movements both anatomically and physiologically. To analyze this, we have been developing a shoulder-movement simulator with a life-like structure, "SKN/1B". In earlier study, we represented the humeral abduction and adduction along the scapular plane using SKN/1B, and measured the grenohumeral joint load during this movement. In this study, we added two muscle actuators and developed new control scheme of muscle actuators during humeral horizontal abduction/adduction.
