Abstract(in English) | Number of group-home has been rapidly increased. Group-home is a single-family residential structure adapted for occupancy by unrelated people with dementia. 1-9 residents live together with the group-home staffs. We developed an information and communication system that is able to login with a user name and a password provided individually and accepts a file of movie, still image or audio with/without a text letter. The system was tested between the group-home staffs and the authors for about four months. It was found that the frequency of the system use was getting increase, and it was confirmed that the number of characters in the letter by the staff increased significantly. |
