Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Doze occurs when the arousal level falls due to fatigue or lack of sleep. In this study, we investigated the doze judging criterion using eye blink changes by comparing the correlation between the blink characteristics and EEC or SPL (Skin Potential Level). From the experimental result, there were significant positive correlations between the average closed eyes time and alpha wave power or SPL. In addition, the increase of the number of blink and the decrease of blink interval occurred before the increase of the closed eyes time caused by the decrease of arousal level. Thus, it was suggested that the number of blink and blink interval predicted the decrease of arousal level early.
