Abstract(in English) A unified parameter extraction of microwave resonators is carried out in the time domain. Four important parameters, that is, the resonant frequency, external Q, unloaded Q and coupling coefficient are calculated from the time variation of the field amplitude in the resonator. This method is considered a substitute of the standard "frequency domain method" which is based on the frequency characteristics of S parameters of the resonator.
