| 抄録(英) | Characteristics of apparent motion induced by tactile stimuli were investigated. In the experiment, subjects responded subjective scales of clarity in perceived motion given by subsequent stimuli applied to their non-dominant index fingers. This experiment also tested the effect of direction of the paired stimuli perceived either from distal or proximal part of the finger. As a result, the subjects perceived clear apparent motions under a certain condition even though the stimuli were based on air-jet, which have thought to be difficult to generate apparent motion. With regards to the direction of apparent motion, since subjects responded differently about the clarity of perceived motion, it was implied that complex factors included individual and anthropological differences may exist to determine the perception associated with the direction of apparent motion. |
