Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper describes intra- and inter-personal temporal-spatial relationship of two actors playing a theater game, an improvised exercise used for actors' training. The authors used a method based on cross correlation and graphycal modelling, a kind of mulltivariate analysis to analyze time series obtained by a motion capture system and electromyogram (EMG). This analysis method makes possible to extract a motion pattern peculiar to each nonverbal communication. The analysis results for the above theater game shows that each actor pays his attention to many parts of his partner's body. The results may suggest that multi model sences relate to corrdinate smooth and comfortable motions of both actors. Furthermore, we analysed interrelationship of both actors dynamically taking turns to change their roles in this game without words.
