Abstract(in English) Timing jitter in MPAM, MASK and M^2QAM with AWGN is calculated for a cosine roll-off bandimiting scheme. Jitter variance has SS, SN and NN components. The values of each component are calculated numerically and tabulated for parameters: SNRρ, alphabet size M, normalized PLL bandwidth b_L, and roll-off factor α. The jitter dependency on these parameters is discussed. Jitter variance is substantially independent of M at low and medium SNR, and it increases with increasing M at high SNR. In addition, the increase is very small when M is more than 4.
