Reed-Solomon coded Code Selection method for multi-carrier systems with Nonlinear Amplifier

Abstract(in English) We propose a multi-carrier code division multiple access (MC CDMA) scheme with Reed-Solomon (RS) coded Code Selection (CS) method to improve the bit error rate (BER) performance with low peak to average power ratio (PAPR). In the proposed scheme, RS coded input data are mapped to the blocks of code selection where each blocks of code selection are mapped on the sub-carriers. Then, the peak power of the transmitted signal is reduced than the conventional MC CDMA. Due to parity symbols, the bandwidth efficiency of proposed scheme decreases compared to the conventional MC CDMA scheme using CS method without RS code. However, it is shown that the parity symbols can be used to improve the BER performances by correcting wrong decision symbols of CS method in simulation results. On the other hand, we consider the proposed scheme with joint constant amplitude coding (CAC) for generating constant amplitude output in nonlinear amplifier.
