Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper proposes a connection admission control method for web sever systems. The method is aimed to reduce the mean response time and the connection loss probability. Many browsers always establish multiple connections and download the files in parallel to reduce the response time. On the other hand, sit administrator constract a web server cluster and limit the total number of connections to prevent from being overloaded. That could decrease the response time, but would increase the connection loss probability. In this paper, we propose an admission method which accept a single connection when the number of connections exceed the threshold. The analytical evaluation result shows that the proposed method provides the smaller connection loss probability then the conventional ones.
