Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) One of the methods of acquiring a depth map of real objects is to search for the correspondences between multi camera images. However, there is a problem that the multi camera acquisition system tends to become very large-scale because of the data amount of multiple videos output from many cameras. In this research, a multi camera system was implemented and examined which is capable of continuously taking and processing multi camera images on small-scale system with one PC, by using color CMOS camera modules. The implementation of proposed multi camera system with 15 camera nodes is described.
