Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This report examines the effectiveness of GPSQ (Guarantee of Psychologically Scaled Quality), which is a method for guaranteeing-user-level QoS of audio-video streams transmitted over IP networks. GPSQ reserves the bandwidth that achieves user-level QoS specified by the users through session control with SIP. We made an experiment where three audio-video streams compete with web traffic in an IP network with GPSQ. We then assessed user-level QoS and has confirmed that each stream achieved user-level QoS which is close to the target quality specified by the user.
