Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In OPS(Optical Packet Switched) networks, high packet loss probability is serious problem because optical RAM has not been realized yet. Now, there are some ways to solve the problem, for example, such as Priority-based Wavelength Assignment(PWA). These ways, however, can attain only local load balancing, and cannot realize global load balancing. This paper proposes a method of route and wavelength assignment for global road balancing in OPS. It uses estimated traffic load which is calculated by latest traffic load data. And the route and wavelength are estimated with meta-heuristic algorithm like genetic algorithm. And we prove the usefulness of proposal method through simulation results.
