Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In the Cognitive Radio system, it is essential to recognize and avoid the interference signal source. The authors have been studying the scheme of the location sensing of interference signal, which utilizes multi-beam function antenna. The radio communication link envisaged for the study is the OFDM system such as WiMAX with wide frequency band. This paper describes the propagation status sensing of the interfering signal as extension of the interference location sensing, which could be attained from the monitored power/phase spectrum of the received interference signal. As a result of studies, it becomes clear that we can estimate the propagation status from the features of spectra which has fluctuation in its envelope. The power/phase spectrum can be monitored by using the soft defined radio receiver.
