Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The authors have conducted a study on autonomous inter-Base Station network as a part of Cognitive Radio research. This paper describes specifications and functions of a developed network and base stations, each of which consists of wireless modules, a network management system and a functional antenna, whose beams can be selected among an omni, sectors and multi-beams. Furthermore, results of the basic transmission performance measured, such as packet loss ratio and throughput of IP transmissions, and antenna characteristics are presented.
