Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Many metrics to select a better route for reactive routing protocols have been proposed for wireless multihop networks. They use the signal strength, estimated link lifetime and so on. Such metrics are introduced mainly to establish long-lived routes. However, since criteria of better routes will very according to applications, it is difficult to select desired route with single metric. In this paper, we propose a reactive routing protocol which can handle multiple weighted metrics to select better routes for various applications. We performed simulations to evaluate communication properties by various combinations of weighted metrics with traffics of different duration. The simulation results showed that our proposed method can achieve better packet reachability with multiple weighted metrics than with single metric.
