Abstract(in English) | An image recognition type input device for sign language has a weak point that the huge volume of information makes an explosion. In order to control the explosion, we propose a development of input device to recognize the motions of sign language using molding technique. We have started from a kinetic analysis of a sign, and in the next step, patternization of sign movement in the phonemic lexicon, selecting some typical signs of basic patterns and finally having preparatory examination of input-out of those signs. |
