Abstract(in English) Insulation life of large DC motors for rolling mill applications, is almost terminationg in Japan. At present, life extension method is to be established for those motors. In this paper, acoustic ceptrum analysis has been applied to the test coils for improving residual insulation life diagnosis accuracy and for estimating the life extension treatment
